Another great show weekend for The Dreamworks Cats.

Both Sumi and Miga was selected Judge's best Shorthair at NORAK's Cat Show in Oslo. Sumi was also selected as Best in Variety (best adult Bengal).

Our beautiful marble, Dreamworks Vanilla Sky, gave birth to five wonderful kittens on Monday 1^st of November. Two boys and three girls, both spotted and marbled. Father is International Champion Kanpur Sumi. Some of them looks very promising. We can't wait to see how they develop.

WOW - WHAT A WEEKEND!!!

We took Sumi and Niamh's litter to BURAKs Cat Show, and we came home with ...

- 2 x Best in Show Shorthair litter.
- 2 x Excellent 1, (N) Dreamworks Balder in Memory.
- 2 x Excellent 1, (N) Dreamworks Frøya.
- 1 x Judges best shorthair kitten (3-6 months)/NOM kat 3.

We're of course extremely happy J

Congratulations also to our good friends Thea and Idar from Golden Art Bengals who took home six Best in Show.

This weekend Sumi attended the Scandinavian Winner Show in Moss, Norway, where 38 of Scandinavias best Bengals participated. Congratiulation to Sumi who ended up as second best of five top quality Bengals in the International Champion ClassJ.

Congratulation also to Absolutely Super Cooper from Kungsgarden in Sweden winning both the Best in Variation (best Bengal) and the Scandinavian Winner Title for the second time. Grattis Ulrica!

Finally after many, many months of waiting! On the 20th of August Kanpur Miga arrived from Vancouver in Canada after a long flight. And what a wonderful moment we had when we finally could touch her and see her before our eyes.

Our International Champion Kanpur Sumi participated at TERAKs Cat Show in Porsgrunn this weekend. He did very well and took home two new certificates. And on Sunday Judge Alexey Shchukin even picked him as Best in Variety (BIV). No wonder we love this wonderboy more and more each day J

Our little sweetheart Guyus Niamh gave birth to six beautiful spotted kittens on June 23. The father - International Champion Kanpur Sumi - is sooo proud. He is guarding the door to the nursery all day.

Sumi got two new certificates and achieved the International Champion title at Adelkattens Cat Show this weekend. Congratulation!

Our cattery is now registered in TICA under the name DreamworksCats. This means we can offer a choice of TICA or NRR/FIFé registration of kittens provided from our cattery. NRR/FIFé registration will continue under the cattery name of Dreamworks.

What a day! Two brand new cats arrived.

First Kampur Sumi (picture) arrived from Canada after months of waiting, and then Leopardette's Eden Z came from Sweden the very same day! We're of course in seventh heaven.

November 12, 2009

Guyus Niamh started her show career in Oslo 7^th and 8^th November 2009. She was only 7 months old and the youngest in her category. Niamh behaved very well, and we will definitely continue to show her.

 We plan to release a video from the cat show in a couple of weeks.

Diana Smith at Kampur Bengals in Canada has sent us some photos of our gorgeous future Stud. On the photos he's only three months old. WOW, what a man he will be!!!

Diana tells us he has a wonderful personality, and that he purrs the minute you touch him. He has just started his rabies vaccinaton program, and if everything goes as planned he will be arriving early in 2010.

Finally she's here! Guyus Niamh arrived safe and sound from Northern Ireland on 16^th July. What a wonderful girl she is! So beautiful and so social. We loved her at first sight.

Thank you Lana for this wonderful girl. We promise to take good care of her.

We have received a greeting from Marbie Girl (Dreamworks Hidden Dragon) in Trondheim.

Marbie recently got a new friend - Pippi. Pippi is the sweet daughter of Pistasj; a 15 year old Norwegian Forrest Cat. In these photos Marbie and Pippi are having a dispute about the ownership of a  cat bed.

Today was also a sad day as we finally removed our dear Miss Kitty from our breeding program.

Marbie Girl has found a new home in Trondheim!

Dreamworks congratulate Dominique and Helge with the new family member.

Congratulations to Camilla in Oslo with a new family member! We're very pleased to hear that Crouching Tiger (or Kiara as you’ve named her) has adapted so well to her new home.

Her sister, Hidden Dragon, missed her playmate for a couple days, but she’s now feeling fine again.

Miss Kitty gave birth to a new litter today - one spotted and one marble girl. Their daddy, Emilio, is very proud and he is guarding the entrance to the nursery almost all day.

Congratulations to our first European Champion, Emilio. The event took place at LIRAK's cat show on May 11.

We believe many may have noticed this boy – not least because of his voice. Judges comments have been on everything from "talkative type" to "voice as Pavarotti". But they certainly must have seen some other qualities too, because he never came home from a cat show without a certificate.

This was the end of Emilo’s career as show cat. We have reached our goal with him!
